When I think of what a yoke is, I think of a burden. There are no middle grounds, you have to be yoked to something to work in agreement with it.

So the invitation in Matthew 11:28-30 says “ come to me all you who are weary and carry heavy burden and I will give you rest take my time upon you, let me teach you because I am humble and gentle at heart and you will find rest for your soul, for my yoke is easy to bear and the burden I give you is light”.

If you look closely at the picture of the yoke, the animals yoked together look alike. You are either yoked with the world or the one who created the work’s which means, for you to accomplish God’s work on earth, you have to be in the same image as the lord.

Whose image are you reflecting?

Your image says a lot about who you are yoked with.

Do you know the spiritual implication of this? Our final destination will be determined by whose image we bear
