DO YOU KNOW YOU CAN WORK FOR GOD AND STILL GO TO HELL?

The great commission in Matthew 28:16-20 has instructs the Disciples to spread the Gospel to all nations; it is a tenet in Christendom. We are all obligated to preach the gospel.

Again, we see clearly in the book of Matthew 7:21

“Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the Kingdom of Heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in Heaven.”

A lot was done with the name of Jesus but sadly, Jesus couldn’t recognize these workers because they were not in his image. He called them workers of Iniquity; those not allowing God deal with sin or vices in their lives while using the name of Jesus to work.

We have various warnings like in Luke 10:19-20.

“Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you. Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven.”

This clearly means works will not help us, working for God is of no use, if you do not have a walk with God everyday. Revelation 22:14.

“Blessed are they that do his commandments that they may enter in through the gates into the city.”

As we preach, our character should be the same as Christ, so that others will see Christ in us. Only those who have taken a radical attitude against every form of sin and who seek to hate as Jesus hated it (Hebrew 1:9) can have the power to expose and drive sin from the assembly of believers.

Now with your works are you going to Heaven or Hell?

Think About it!!!
